After building numerous residential additions, he gravitated toward structural repair when he was asked, many years ago, to stabilize a series of barns. Since that time, Mr. Goellner has mastered the idiosyncrasies of wood, masonry, and steel in structures ranging from new to 250 years old and has taken on projects ranging from $10,000 to over $1 million.
